Just a quick note to say how lucky i am to have 3 happy children going to St Josephs. Lilly started Yr 2 at the end of last term and has settled in really quickly and is very happy, Morgan is in Yr 1 and thoroughly enjoys school, much to my surprise and today Ruby started in Reception and was so enthusiastic and excited and "would definately like to go back tomorrow"

This is a fabulous school with fantastic teachers and a lovely atmosphere. We are very lucky and privaledged to be able to send our children to this school and I look forward to many hapy school years ahead!!!!!!!!!

I have really enjoyed my time at st.jo. Come to think of it we were a special class we were the last ones to have been at the old school,we were north Somerset champions and we are the first year to have clip on ties in Gordano (not so lucky huh) but its gonna be fun because I still have 2 of my good friends with me and we are gonna stick together.

I recently did work experience at St Joseph's and I would just like to say a quick thank you to all the staff and children (especially year 3!) who made me feel very welcome. I was so sad to leave at the end of the week and I wish I could have stayed longer. Also, well done for raising so much money at the toy sale and tombola for the children in India!
Have a nice holiday everyone!

I've been looking at each class on the website, just to keep in touch with you while I'm away.
You all seem to be having a great time learning by exploring! I particularly enjoyed Y3's questions for exploration.... I certainly don't think Monet's lakes should be made into a railway though! I loved the shelters made by Y5 too.... what a pity Mrs. Burns needed to get home to her warm bed!
Enjoy SATs next week Y6... I KNOW you will do your best as always.XXXX

I am an ex-student from St Josephs, i really loved it here. The atmosphere was amazing and you really felt like you fitted in. There were good size classes and you all had equal responsibilities that made you feel respected. The teachers are amazing and they really helped put me on the right track towards my future.

Hi everyone
I am very much looking forward to joining the school team in September. Having already spent time with the Year 2 pupils, I am really excited to be supporting them and Mrs Maliphant in Year 3.
The staff and pupils at St Jo's have enabled me to successfully complete my Teaching Assistant courses. Mrs McMahon, Mrs Rigby and Mrs Roberts in particular have lent their time and support, so a big THANK YOU to you all.
Happy Holidays!

Hello, I hope that Year 2 had an enjoyable time at the cookery event in Waitrose today. A friend saw the children from St Josephs in the shop at the fish counter and was very impressed by the excellent behaviour on display and how beautifully smart all of the children looked in their uniform.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs Madams for a lovely report on our 'Green School Float'. It's great to see the recycling bug has taken hold...pardon the pun ! Already the habitat stack in the pond area is taking shape and some minibeasts have already taken up residence.

I have just been to the afternoon performance of Pied Piper. Fantastic... You have to pinch yourself to remember that the children are only aged 10 and 11. Thanks to everyone who took part in anyway on stage or behind the scenes. The reputation of Saint Joseph's as a school where music and drama excel continues....

Thank you for organising the uniform sale, it is such a good idea to re-cycle clothes that are in good condition. Well done to the Eco-monitors who were really great sales people, pointing out the bargains and making sure all the money was collected properly.

Today, we hope to send our newsletter by email to parents who have supplied their addresses! It's another step in the right direction in terms of ESD (education for sustainable development ) I'm looking forward to reading news from our eco monitors. They do a brilliant job in school and have just raised a staggering £157.28 in their toy sale! The money is to go toward providing solar panels in order to offset the use of the school's air-con. We are also waiting to hear whether we've been successful in getting a grant to finance this project.....so, keep your fingers crossed please!
