Year 4's Page

Rockwatch

At the start of Term 6 we visited Cheddar Caves and had a fantastic time! We found out that the caves are made from a sedimentary rock called limestone formed millions of years ago. We enjoyed looking at the stalactites and stalagmites as well as hunting for fossils in the rock.

Some of us bought colourful minerals in the shop to add to our collection at school, we spent a long time researching the different mineral types as well as sorting, labelling and displaying our collection.
